On-device study data: progress, study streak, furigana right/wrong tallies, history, exam date, and an on-device anonymous ID. Stored only on your device (localStorage) and is not personal information.

Server study data: an aggregate of the study data above plus an anonymous authentication ID. The anonymous ID does not by itself identify an individual, but this policy treats it carefully as personal-related information.

Account information (only when you link an account): your Google account's email address, display name, and account identifier. This is personal information.

Access and usage: page-view and interaction events (our own measurement ledger) and aggregate figures via Vercel Analytics and Google Analytics; see Section 9. As a rule this is statistical information that does not identify individuals.

To provide the learning service, save and restore study records, and show progress and diagnostics.

To respond to inquiries from the user.

To improve service quality, identify and address defects, and prevent misuse.

To create and publish statistical data. After anonymizing and aggregating so that individuals cannot be identified, we may publish it as industry reports such as learning or exam trends.

When you link an account, to carry your account-linked study records across devices.

Except where required by law, we do not provide personal data to third parties without the user's consent. However, outsourcing (Section 5), business succession (Section 6), and publishing statistical information that does not identify individuals (Section 3) are exceptions.

To operate the service, we entrust the handling of information to the following external services and supervise them appropriately.

Supabase (database and authentication platform; storage of study data and account information)

Vercel (hosting and access analytics)

Stripe (payment processing for paid plans and mock-exam packs; we never hold your card number)

Anthropic (generating the detailed AI report for a mock exam; we send only the questions, the options and your answers — never your name, email address or account identifier)

Google (access analytics and ad measurement; see Section 9)

For the location of processors' servers and cross-border transfers, see Section 7.

If the business of this service is transferred to a third party through a merger, company split, business transfer, or other cause, the study data and personal information collected under this policy may be transferred to the successor.

The successor is required to maintain handling equivalent to or stricter than this policy.

This service is also provided to users residing outside Japan (Vietnam, Indonesia, etc.).

Collected information may be stored and processed on servers in Japan or in a country/region designated by our processors. Users use the service on the understanding that data may be transferred to a country different from their country of residence.

Data storage region: Japan. Data of users residing outside Japan is also stored and processed on servers in Japan.

However, Stripe, Anthropic and Google in Section 5, and the recipients in Section 9, are based in the United States and elsewhere; information sent to them is processed outside Japan.

We use localStorage and similar technologies on your device to save and restore study data and to keep you signed in.

We use a cookie to remember your display language.

We use Vercel Analytics for access analytics.

For access analytics and ad measurement we may use Google Analytics (GA4) through Google Tag Manager, which sets cookies. See Section 9.

You can disable these in your browser settings, but some parts of the service may then be unavailable.

This service may transmit information from your device to the following companies (disclosed under Japan's Telecommunications Business Act).

Recipient: Google LLC / Information sent: the URL of the page you are viewing, the referrer, your device and browser type, identifiers such as cookies, and the type of action taken in the service (only three: "answered a first question", "linked an account", "went to the payment screen") / Purpose: access analytics and ad measurement

Recipient: Meta Platforms, Inc. / Information sent: the same kinds of information / Purpose: ad measurement (only while we are running ads)

We send only the type of action listed above. We do not send your email address, your name, the content of your answers, or question identifiers.

Opting out: you can stop this through your browser's cookie settings, Google's opt-out add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout/), Google's ad settings (https://myadcenter.google.com/), and Meta's ad settings.

Server-stored data is restricted by Row Level Security (RLS) so that each user can access only their own data. The key exposed in the browser alone cannot access other users' data.

Traffic is encrypted with TLS, and stored data is encrypted on our processors' platforms.

Access to the external services that manage data (Supabase, Vercel, etc.) is limited to authenticated accounts with multi-factor authentication enabled.

We keep collected personal information to the minimum necessary (we do not collect name or address) and limit who can access the data.

Users may request disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, or suspension of use of their personal information. Please contact us at the point of contact in Section 1.

On-device study data can be erased yourself using the in-app “Reset study history” feature or by clearing browser data.

If you have linked an account, you can unlink it and delete your server-side data yourself from the account-deletion feature in My Page. We also assist via the contact in Section 1.

This policy may be revised in response to changes in law or in the service. When we make important changes, we will announce them on the service.
